Description
Inscribed bronze weight; complete, but cracked. Spherical in shape, top and bottom flattened. Bronze fairly well preserved. dia. of body: .023; h.: .018; dia. of flat surfaces: .015; 58 grms, two Roman ounces probably, although a little heavier than that. The Roman uncia weighs 27.28 grms One of flattened surfaces is inscribed; both surfaces have an impressed dot a little off center; [sketch] Found with bronze bracelet c158-U713. Coins: Cc1136-Cc1142
