Surface over Bacchus mosaic
Description
Fragment of Bronze Ornament. Bronze is thin but in fairly good state of preservation. Preserved l .092 app.; w .0035; d .003. Two thin, narrow strips of metal meet at one end where they are bent into a tubing which extends for .011 and is then sharply cut off. These were probably attached to possibly a headdress and the strips were bent in some decorative manner.
