IV Centre around pebble floor

Bronze Handle. Heavy metal but well pitted with corrosion it is broken off at the end where it joined the vessel or object for which it served as a handle. d .031; w .02 to .01. In the form of a conventionalized leaf this handle curls back and around with the small end of the leaf fitting under the larger end which was attached to the vessel. The handle is concave reaching its greatest concavity at the spine of the leaf. On either side of this central line are two which converge toward the end of the leaf.
