Description
Lead Funerary Urn with top and fragments of bones inside. The urn is a flat-bottomed, bulbous jar with a small turned-back rim over which the top should fit though both top and rim are too fragmentary on this urn to determine this. There is a trace of moulding at the base in attempt to make a ring base, it would seem. The bone fragments are too badly destroyed to measure or determine. The lead is good quality, but fragmentary.Dia. at base, .116; max. diameter, .204; heigth, .192. Top too fragmentary to measure.
