Description

Bronze Object Possibly a HandleWell caste with the metal in a fine state of preservation

A circular hole for the end of the finger possibly (d .017) is surrounded by one flat side, the bottom, two outward slanting sides and one bevelled side, the top. The sides go above the top, one ending shortly in a slight outward turn, the other flaring and extending upward and outward .021. The top of this side is roughly scalloped, and on the outer surface decorated with one dotted concentrick circle incised and three small circular pits for insets stones. This object may have been a finer guard in shooting a bow or some other form of finger protector.
