Description
Gilded Bronze PendantThe base metal is badly corroded and there remains the traces of the gilding in only small patches here and there.

Possibly not a pendant but an ornament attached to some material or part of dress, this object is made from a hollow metal square with points at each corner and between the points a longer pendant is attached thus making a "ray" type of design. Beneath the longer pendants there is another section with clamps thru which the attachment might be made to the material. The gold plated surfaces of the "rays" have a small simple incised pattern or possibly the bronze is moulded so and the gold reveals this.
