An Acropolis, above Polybius stairway.
Description
Marble block with dedicatory inscription; chipped at the left back corner.
White-gray marble; smooth on the inscribed surface, poorly smoothed on the bottom, rough picked at the sides and top. Top side has two deep, small foot print like depressions spaced .40 from each other probably to help other block slide and be pit in place over it, or used as dowel holes.
