Description
Limestone block.
Height 0.43 m. width 0.55 m. thickness 0.26 m. Height of letters 0.09 m. to 0.12 m. the inscription is 0.33 m. in length and is placed a little to the right of the center of the face.
The letters are carefully scratched but are not tooled. The block is of a period earlier than the construction of the theatre; it was found built in a wall along the face of the scaenae frons. There are no traces of other letters on the block, nor were any other fragments inscribed in this manner found.
