Excavation 2, around painted floor.
Description
Hellenistic lamp Broneer type IX of about III B.C. Nozzle missing as well as chips from here and there. Hard, fine, pure, light reddish brown clay. Black brown varnish with a metallic gloss, both inside and outside. l preserved: .085; w: .075; h: .04. Perforated knob on left side. Found with Hellenistic red varnished and possibly some early Roman.
