Description
Arabic inscription on a piece of white marble: broken off at right and below.
Rather coarse-grained white marble: surface slightly roughened and discolored and covered with a thin deposit of lime. Rough picked on back.
l. preserved: .538; max. h.: .19; th.: .116; w. of border above: ca. .045; w. of border on left: ca. .054; h. of letters: .058.
Within a raised border a line of Arabic letters in relief and a [stricken: "geometric"] band of geometric decoration below letters. Traces of a carved moulding on [stricken : "top"] upper edge show that slab was reused.
