Description
Roman lamp of Antioch group IX-X; handle and top preserved. Hard, fine, buff clay, thin fabric; few, white inclusions. Light buff slip. l. preserved: .07; w: .058; h. preserved: .028. Oval in shape; small handle rising upwards, flat from side to side. Rim decorated with band of rosettes in relief; rim separated from discus by a band of herring bone pattern; faintly moulded horse at center and two filling holes. Found with Late C.
