Description
Round Roman lamp, Antioch group VII; nozzle broken off. Rather soft, fine, pure, reddish brown clay. Not varnished. l. preserved: .072; w: .072; h: .025. Top decorated with large rosette at center surrounded by a band imitating the herring bone pattern. The designs look more incised than moulded. Found with: late B, C, D; one coarse with painted inscription; one moulded fragment.
