Description
Hellenistic lamp in between Antioch group I and II; part of nozzle missing. Fine, cream colored clay with a few fine inclusions. Traces of reddish brown varnish (?) l. preserved: .07; w: .045; h: .025. Moulded decoration of cornucopia and ivy leaves; low ring foot with rosette. Found with: much Hellenistic; red varnished pre-Augustan; some black varnished; ancient green glazed; lamps Hell. Antioch group I.
