H. .705 W. 1.305 Fragment of topographical mosaic pavement of Room 5. Outer border, red. Inner border, grey. Emblema: in center, fragment of figure; legs outlined at the right in brown and modelled in pink with a white highlight; line of red beneath sole of foot at left; garment, pale tan with dark grey shadow at right divided by a streak of red. Cast shadow between feet, yellow. Extreme left, feet and ankles of a figure now destroyed, pink with red on the right side; line of green-grey beneath fett, above a yellow area that widens immediately to right of the feet and changes above to green-grey. To right of central figure, a mountain landscape in greys with traces of scattered light blue and red glass and a patch of yellow limestone in the center, and below, a small yellow house outlined in violet-grey and violet, with a red roof. Extreme right, yellow tesserae representing earth and vegetation, with a green-grey tree.
