H. 1.42 W. 1.255 Geometric mosaic pavement of Room 3. Shaded cube design. Outer border, red. Outer panel: black border with row of yellow, indented diamonds; field, white, enclosing a lozenge outlined in red and filled with yellow containing a circle; circle outlined in black, then white, with a red center inscribed with a diamond outlined in white with a light grey center. Upper panel edged in red, enclosing a shaded cube design: each row has cubes in the same order of colors. All cubes have white tops. Lowest row, left to right: 1) green-grey shadow on front; 2) light grey shadow at left, brown-mottled grey at right; 3) yellow at left, black at right; 4) brown-mottled grey at left, red at right; 5) pink-mottled yellow at left, grey-green at right; 6) greyish white (the rest destroyed). In each succeeding row the cubes are moved over one to the left, giving a total effect of a diagonal series of colors.
