Description
H. 2.20 W. 1.71. Mosaic pavement of Room I. Outer border: angling fret composed of lines of very dark grey on a white field; triangles filled with pale tan. Wavecrest border, red and white. Field of panel: area formed by conjunction of four rosettes composed of interlocking and superimposed circles has dark red background. Petals of the quatrefoil are yellowish-grey, the crosses, white. The other areas between the large rosettes are dark grey with white crosses. Lines of the rosette, stem and leaves of the buds, very dark grey. Each bud is red graded through dull yellow to white.
