Description
Figurine fragment Soft clay, buff paste and wet smoothed with traces of white paint. The coiffured head of a lady, broken at the neck rests in a sort of hoodlike framework resembling the arabic [sic] howdah altho [sic] wether [sic] this figure was riding one cannot say. The exegencies [sic] of the moulding probably developed this protection for the figure. The oval face has a long nose and large conventionalized eyes.
