Built in wall under Lion mosaic

Description

Bases of columns. Hard [?] structured, yellow to flesh colored local limestone. Almost all corners of both pieces are missing.(b) Well carved, with [?] finish.
Hyperbolic apoplygee, and well rounded toruses. Fine chisel works still seen, probably shaft was covered with opus [?]. Piece (b) has three cuttings on three sides for chancel posts. Two opposite ones are cut to the base in a roughly circular forum and [?] c. 0.085; while the third [?] the top of the first torus (firm down) and finishes flush with the shaft of the column.
a) both pieces have exactly same measurements.
Base a) has a total height of 0.645 base b) 0.367
Base a) has [?] works carefully carved on top
But they are carved far from each other.
