Description
Marble Revetment Fragment. Coarse gray marble, crudely cut and with traces of red paint. Badly chipped.

Parts of two registers are visible on this fragment. In the lower there only remains a triangular section with a conventionalized leaf. Above the plain band (w .020) which follows is a wide leaf wit a conventionalized satyr's face cut on it. There are several sprays behind this and the background showing is cut very jagged in the customary manner.
