Sub. Room 2.

Marble Fragment, Base of Colonette. The square slab at the base develops a full round moulding, then a low moulding which extends inward with a full curve and upward in a short lip where the actual shaft of the colonette begins. The marble is coarse, grey, and heavily incrusted as well as weathered. The workmanship is adequate. There is a large (Dowel) hole (.6240) in the center of the shaft. Base width, .184; maximum moulding width, .186; minimum moulding width, .119; heigth, .078.
